A new addition to the UDO Family
The United Dance Organisation (UDO) are pleased to announce that Daran Bennett has joined the UDO Group to work with their management team through the next period of development and growth for the UDO.
Daran brings over 20 years experience in the sport and physical activity sector and was the founding CEO of The Exercise Movement & Dance Partnership (EMDP), the National Governing Body for Exercise Movement & Dance (EMD) who receive investment from Sport England.
Having taken EMDP from incorporation, through development and growth to be the lead body for EMD in the UK, after eight years Daran felt the time was right for a new challenge. Daran’s initial focus will be the development of the U DO IT!,Dance Foundation and building a sustainable Foundation focused on Engaging and Empowering Children & Young People to feel valued and included in their community through Street Dance.

The U DO IT! Dance Foundation’s is a registered charity whose mission is simply to advance the education of children and young people from under privileged communities through inclusive dance opportunities.
The United Dance Organisation (UDO) are widely regarded as the world’s largest Street Dance organisation with over 50,000 members worldwide. The UDO hosts 16 regional Street Dance Championships around the UK and also hosts European and World Championships each year.
The Exercise Movement & Dance Partnership (EMDP) are the National Governing Body for Exercise Movement & Dance (EMD), receiving investment from Sport England and are a key national partner providing support, development and training opportunities.
