The UDO Street Dance Syllabus has been developed by the UDO & seven dance industry professionals.

Lizzie Gough

Lizzie Gough

Lizzie continues to train to maintain her high standard in various classes at Pineapple Dance Studios as well as Bikram yoga. She has accomplished many styles of dance from hip-hop, locking, popping, breaking, to contemporary, street jazz, Tap and many more.

Some of her featured credits are Take That “The Circus” Tour, THE BOX ident, Xfactor, Dancing On Ice, Clothes Show Live, George Sampson Singing in the rain, and Hip hop show sensation “Blaze” and the new Kate Prince/Zoonation production “Some like it Hip Hop”.

She appeared on the hit UK Dance show “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 1 of which she came Third in the country and also represented the UK in the worldwide TV show Segundo Campeonato Mundial de Baile which was filmed in Mexico. Lizzie also judges at the UDO World/ British Streetdance Championships

 

 

Bly Richards

Bly

Since winning Bump&Grind2, a show on the sky channel 'Trouble', looking for the best dancer in the UK, Blys work has encompased DVDs, TV and Live Stage Performances.

His Stage work includes performing at the Mobo awards for UK Hip Hop artist Kano, Working with Rachel Stevens on her UK tour and television performances, Performing with Plague on BBC 3s 'Move like Michael Jackson'; Placing in the Final, Michael Jacksons Timeless theatre shoe and 'Labrinth' on 1 Xtra Live.

His TV Work includes Dancing with Cheryl Cole on X Factor, working on the music videos 'Hung up' part 1 and 2 with Madonna, 'I Said Never Again' with Rachel Stevens, The Children in Need advert, an advert for '3' Mobile Network which aired on MTV, Dancing on 'Popworld' for Princess Supoerstar and Eric E; and Dancing on GMTV for the artist Jo Jo.

His DVD work Includes staring in the dance tuition DVD with sadie and joseph; The 2005 winners of “Strictly Dance Fever” and the dance tuition DVD for Pineapple Dance Studios.

 

Mechanikool P (Alex Peters)

Mechanikool

As Mechanikool has worked in schools for over 8 years, he brings a strong ability to connect and impart clearly structured knowledge, in a fun and dynamic way. This has earned him a strong reputation for his teaching skills, and has allowed him to travel all over Europe to share with people of all ages. He teaches 2009 BGT winners ‘Diversity’ the artform of popping.

Mechanikool is the UK popping champion. He achieved this previously in 2006 and has represented the UK in the world battles in 2006/2007 and 2011. He continues to be an active member of the street dance community.

Jimmy Williams

Jimmy

 

Jimmy has his own unique and popular style of locking, popping, boogie and jazz.

As a professional dancer he has performed the lead role of Doctor Teeth with the Muppet Show on Tour throughout UK and Paris.

He has also performed and choreographed the following stage shows, Street Angels at The Half Moon Theatre, Take a Boo at the Hackney Empire and Michael Jackson Extravaganza at Madame Tussauds.

His talents as a choreographer have been sought by popular artists that include Eternal, Chanice Wilson, Soul 2 Soul, Mandy Smith, Mick and Pat, Apache Indian, LA Mix, Bad Boys Inc, Gemini, Richard Travis, Optimistic.

 

Lee Crowley

Lee

Lee Crowley aka B-Boy "Reckless Lee" is a member of ‘Soul Mavericks’ Crew and ‘A Team’

Lee made it to the Finals of Got Dance with ATeam and in 2011, he made the top 14 dancers on BBC1's second series of "So You Think You Can Dance UK", beating hundreds of dancers from all over the country in the process. The show has given the Lee the opportunity to perform on live television in many styles such as Broadway, Contemporary, Jazz and Hip-Hop and demonstrate his versatility as a dancer.

Calvin Francis

Calvin

 

Calvin began his dance training later in life, but this has not hindered his successful dance career.

He has trained in London and across Europe, gaining Knowledge and experience along the way.

In his professional career, Calvin has danced for artists such as JLS, Cheryl Cole, Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis, to name a few.

Calvin teaches regular classes at Pineapple Dance Studios, London and has taught workshops around the UK and Europe.

Mark 'Swarf' Calape

Swarf

Mark is a member of the Animaineax, Zoo Nation, Boy Blue, Dance 2XS, Pink Mafia, Flo'Ography and The A-Team. He has worked in the dance industry for Jay Sean,. Nelson Mandella's birthday, All Saints, and also theatre productions such as 'Into the hoods', Pied Piper, and many move.

TV work includes 'So You Think You Can Dance' UK season one and BBC Three's 'Move like Michael Jackson' with the Animaineax.
